Summary
GGD Amsterdam conducted an unannounced annual inspection on 16 February 2026 at childminder Neslo in Amsterdam. The childminder has been registered since 2013 and cares for a maximum of 6 children in her apartment via childminder agency Be Kind Gastouder Service. During the visit, 4 children (aged 1-3 years) were in care. The inspection revealed a good pedagogical climate: the childminder communicates frequently, provides structure and emotional security, and stimulates social and creative skills. There were two points for attention: a baby walker (not in use, childminder will not use it) and the use of wet wipes for hands and mouth (discussed that washcloths with water are preferable). The childminder is aware of new legislation effective 1 July 2026 and has a pedagogical work plan. All quality requirements are met.
