The agency is inspected annually by the GGD (Municipal Health Service) and holds a Geschilvrij (Dispute-Free) certificate from the Geschillencommissie Kinderopvang (Childcare Disputes Committee). All childminders hold the required diplomas and are regularly visited by their fixed contact person to check whether the childcare location meets safety and hygiene regulations. ViaViela has an internal complaints procedure and an active parent committee that represents the interests of parents and children.

Kidko meets all legal requirements of the Childcare Act (Wet Kinderopvang) and is registered in the National Childcare Register (Landelijk Register Kinderopvang) under number 181692363. The bureau has a current GGD inspection report (2025) and holds a complaint-free certificate (2024). All childminders must hold at least a diploma MBO-2 Helpende Zorg en Welzijn and are regularly screened. Kidko carries out annual risk assessments at childminders and provides access to an external complaints committee.
