Summary

The unannounced incidental inspection on 2 July 2026 was initiated following a signal. At the first visit the childminder was absent; the second visit took place on 4 August 2026. Initially, violations were identified regarding the implementation of the health and safety risk assessment: a jacuzzi in the back garden had not been included in the risk assessment, and a baby was sleeping unsafely with a duvet and soft toys in the cot. Agreements regarding a sleep tent were also missing. Following a recovery offer, the childminder agency updated the risk assessment and the childminder removed the unsafe sleeping items. As a result, all requirements are now met. Other aspects such as pedagogical climate, group composition, Certificate of Conduct (VOG) and expertise were in order from the outset. The advice to the municipality is: no enforcement action.
