GGD Groningen conducted an unannounced annual inspection on 9 April 2026 at childminder Cannegieter Hartman in Meeden. The childminder provides daycare (kinderdagverblijf/KDV) for 10 children (0-4 years) via Gastouderland Groningen in a specially equipped space with a large garden. Almost all quality requirements were met immediately. There was one violation: the Certificate of Good Conduct (VOG) for the son who turned 18 in January 2026 had not been applied for and linked in the Childcare Personnel Register in a timely manner. The Municipal Health Service (GGD) issued a recovery offer, after which the shortcoming was resolved within the deadline (VOG applied for and linked on 25 April 2026). The GGD advises the municipality of Midden-Groningen not to take enforcement measures.
