Depending on your municipality, you may pay administrative fees for this registration (in Leiden these are €0).
The hourly rate for childminder (gastouder) care at home starts from €23.33 per hour. This rate is paid per hour, not per child, but is based on the number of children in the family. When searching for a childminder, you pay a one-time recruitment and selection fee of €275 after a match. Agency fees are included in the hourly rate, so there are no monthly agency costs. Grote Zus handles the cashier function and invoices the agreed hours monthly.
Trust & screening
All childminders at Grote Zus are carefully screened before being matched with families. This includes a Certificate of Good Conduct (VOG) for both the agency holder and all childminders. Childminders, their housemates and persons aged 18 and over who are regularly present during childcare hours are registered in the childcare persons register and linked to the holder.
