About this care
Jonas bso location ONS is situated on the grounds of Oranje Nassauschool primary school at Weissenbruchstraat 119 in The Hague. As part of the national Gro-up organisation, we provide after-school care (BSO) for children aged 4 to 12 who attend primary school. Our team works closely with the school so that children can come to us safely and directly after school.
At Jonas ONS we organise the children into age-based core groups. The youngest BSO children (4-6 years) are offered calm and small-scale activities, while older children (7-12 years) are given more freedom to make their own choices and take on challenging projects. During school holidays we combine with Jonas BHS at BSO Paschalis location. This merger allows us to present an even broader and more challenging programme, making use of extra play areas and specialised holiday projects.
Our pedagogical staff are ready every weekday to provide children with a safe and stimulating environment. We offer homework supervision, creative workshops and sports and games activities. There is also plenty of opportunity for free play and relaxation after an intensive school day. The location has its own rooms within the school and uses the playground and gym, ensuring sufficient movement options even in poorer weather.

The Municipal Health Service (GGD) inspected the after-school care (BSO) Jonas BSO location ONS at Weissenbruchstraat 119 in Den Haag on 2 September 2025. The location accommodates a maximum of 40 children aged 4-12, primarily pupils of the Oranje Nassauschool. The annual unannounced inspection showed that the childcare meets the statutory quality requirements on all points examined. No violations were found. The pedagogical practice appears warm and structured: children experience emotional safety, can choose their own activities, receive compliments and are encouraged to play together. The team holds the correct qualifications, all staff are registered with a valid Certificate of Conduct (VOG), and there is always someone present with a paediatric first aid certificate. The pedagogical policy staff member coaches the team according to schedule. The municipality was advised not to take enforcement action.
