About this care
Day-care centre De Griffioen is located at Schoolstraat 45 in the heart of Prinsenbeek. We provide care for children from 0 to 4 years in a homely and safe environment. Our team of experienced pedagogical staff works with small groups so that every child receives the attention they deserve. We use the Parent App to keep parents updated daily with photos and messages, so you can still experience a little of how your child spends the day.
Our location is fully geared to the needs of the very youngest. There are separate sleeping areas, a safe indoor and outdoor play environment and all necessary care products are available. We work closely with primary school De Griffioen, ensuring a smooth transition to toddler care or primary school.
At Kober we believe it is important that children feel safe and secure. We offer a predictable daily structure with fixed moments for playing, sleeping, eating and cuddling. Our pedagogical staff regularly attend training to stay up-to-date with the latest insights in childcare.

Summary
GGD West-Brabant inspected daycare center (kinderdagverblijf/KDV) Griffioen in Prinsenbeek on 30 October 2025 following a request to expand the number of childcare places from 74 to 76. The unannounced incidental inspection consisted of document review and telephone contact with the location manager. The location is part of Kober B.V. and provides care for children aged 0 to 4 years in five groups. The expansion concerns the PTO group, which from 5 January 2026 will use an additional space (learning plaza/corridor) of 71 m², increasing the number of places in this group from 14 to 16. The accommodation meets the legal requirements for space and safety. No violations or areas for improvement were identified. The holder notified the change in a timely manner via the required change notification form. The report concludes that the quality of care is in order and advises the municipality of Breda not to take enforcement measures and to approve the expansion of the number of childcare places.
