Trust & screening
All childminders at Junis are certified and meet strict requirements. They hold a recognised diploma for childminder care, a valid paediatric first aid certificate, a Certificate of Conduct (Verklaring Omtrent Gedrag/VOG), and valid identification. In addition, they have a safe childcare environment with a stair gate, sleeping place for children, and an enclosed outdoor space. Strengths

Summary
The annual inspection by Municipal Health Service (GGD) Hollands Midden of childminder agency (gastouderbureau) Junis Kinderopvang in Alphen aan den Rijn presents a mixed picture. The agency mediates for 49 childminders (gastouders) at 50 locations with four mediation staff members. On the aspects of pedagogical policy, safety and health, and parental rights, the agency meets statutory requirements. However, two shortcomings were identified regarding general terms for quality and compliance (notification of changes) and personnel (childcare persons register). Regarding changes, there were two situations in which childminders were not deregistered from the National Childcare Register in a timely manner. Regarding the persons register, three cases were identified where persons were not registered or incorrectly linked. One of these concerned a recovery offer that was followed up in a timely manner. The remaining shortcomings had not yet been resolved at the time of inspection. The supervisory authority advises the municipal council to enforce in accordance with the enforcement policy.
