Christelijk Gastouderbureau De Herberg is the first and largest Christian childminder agency (gastouderbureau) in the Netherlands, active since 2006. Christian Childminder Agency De Herberg helps parents find suitable Christian childminder care (gastouderopvang) for their children. We offer personal mediation between parents and childminders (gastouders), paying extensive attention to your wishes and needs. Our placement staff are pedagogically trained professionals who guide the entire process, from intake through to the ongoing care arrangement. We ensure quality assurance through screening of childminders (gastouders), regular visits and support with practical matters such as contracts, invoicing and childcare benefit (kinderopvangtoeslag).
Subsidy & costs
Parents are entitled to childcare benefit (kinderopvangtoeslag) for childminder care (gastouderopvang) through Christian Childminder Agency De Herberg, as all our childminders (gastouders) are registered in the National Childcare Register (LRK). We guide parents in calculating and applying for the benefit through the Tax and Customs Administration. As a recognised childminder agency (gastouderbureau), we hold the cashier function and submit the care hours to the Tax and Customs Administration on a monthly basis. Parents can use our calculation tool (available from the local branch) to calculate their net monthly costs. For in-home care, we prepare a customised quotation.
The costs of childminder care (gastouderopvang) at De Herberg consist of two components: the childminder fee and the agency costs. We visit childminders (gastouders) regularly to safeguard the quality of care and hold evaluation conversations with both parents and childminders (gastouders).
Christian Childminder Agency De Herberg is a recognised and GGD-registered childminder agency (gastouderbureau), which means parents are entitled to childcare benefit (kinderopvangtoeslag). We ensure that all childminders (gastouders) meet the requirements of the Childcare Act, including diploma requirements, Certificate of Good Conduct (VOG), housing requirements and health declarations.
