We work with quality childminders who meet all legal requirements, including diplomas, Paediatric First Aid (Kinder-EHBO) and Certificate of Conduct (VOG). Our childminders work with the early childhood education programme AAP! for your child's development. You only pay for the actual childcare hours and agency fees, and we offer support with applying for childcare benefit (kinderopvangtoeslag).
Subsidy & costs
Gastouderland Midden Limburg offers full support with applying for childcare benefit (kinderopvangtoeslag). Because all our childminders are registered in the National Childcare Register (LRK), parents are eligible for benefit from the Tax and Customs Administration.
We provide monthly invoicing that can be used as supporting evidence for the benefit application. Our financial helpdesk can advise on the application procedure. The amount of benefit depends on family income, number of children and childcare hours. For each child, you can receive a maximum of 230 hours of childcare benefit per month. - VOG application: Application for Certificate of Conduct (VOG) for childminder, housemates (≥18 years) and those regularly present
- Location inspection: Visit to the childcare location by our consultant and later by the GGD
- PRK registration: Registration in the Childcare Persons Register
- LRK registration: Definitive registration in the National Childcare Register by the municipality
Only after positive completion of all steps does a childminder become active in our network.

Pedagogical vision
Gastouderland Midden Limburg works with its own early childhood education programme AAP! for preschool education. This unique programme playfully focuses on the social-emotional, motor, cognitive and sensory development of children. Together with the cuddly monkey Aap!, children are prepared for starting school.
