Subsidy & costs
Parents who have their child(ren) cared for through Gastoudercollectief KIND may be eligible for childcare benefit (kinderopvangtoeslag) from the national government. Trust & screening
Childminders are carefully selected by KIND and meet at least all legally required standards. The screening includes: an intake interview, verification of MBO-2 Helping Care and Welfare diploma or approved childminder training, Certificate of Good Conduct (Verklaring Omtrent Gedrag/VOG) for the childminder and adult household members, annual risk assessment of the living environment, and evaluation of physical and mental suitability. Childminders must identify with KIND's pedagogical principles and have an affinity with natural parenting. Two home visits take place annually with progress discussions and evaluation of pedagogical practice.
