Gastouderbureau ZieJeZo fully supports parents in applying for childcare benefit (kinderopvangtoeslag). Because the agency is recognised and registered in the National Childcare Register (LRKP), the care meets the conditions of the Tax and Customs Administration. The agency provides all necessary contracts and registration details (LRK number) to easily apply for the benefit. For 2025, the maximum hourly rate for reimbursement via the Childcare Benefit is €8.10 per hour per child, including agency fees and babysitting allowance. Parents receive an annual statement from the agency for their tax return.

The rate for childminder care (gastouderopvang) via ZieJeZo consists of placement fees and agency fees. The hourly rate is set annually on 1 January based on cost developments in professional childcare. For 2025, the maximum hourly rate for childcare benefit (kinderopvangtoeslag) is €8.10 per hour per child. Travel costs and food are not included in the rate and are settled directly between parent and childminder without agency involvement. Payments run through the agency (cashier function) and are automatically collected on the first working day of the month. Agreements have a minimum term of 1 year (11 months care + 1 month notice period).

Gastouderbureau ZieJeZo applies a thorough screening process for all childminders. Every potential childminder must meet legal requirements including a Certificate of Conduct (VOG) that may be no more than 2 months old at start. In addition, a relevant childcare diploma (such as MBO-2 Care and Welfare), valid proof of identity, and certification in First Aid for Children are mandatory. The agency monitors continuous safety screening and requires that household members of childminders also apply for a VOG. The care location must meet furnishing requirements, be smoke-free, and be equipped with adequate play facilities and a separate sleeping area for children up to 1.5 years.

Gastouderbureau ZieJeZo meets all legal requirements for childcare and is registered in the National Childcare Register (LRKP). The agency has taken out business liability insurance with coverage of €1,250,000 per incident. All childminders must meet strict quality requirements, including a Certificate of Conduct (VOG), a relevant childcare diploma, and registration in the Childcare Personnel Register (PRK). ZieJeZo is affiliated with the Childcare Disputes Committee for complaint handling and conducts annual GGD inspections. The agency publishes recent GGD reports transparently on its website.
