We select childminders (gastouders) who meet your wishes and criteria, and who are communicatively skilled and deal with parent and child with integrity. Childminder care (gastouderopvang) is small-scale professional childcare in a homely atmosphere, often more attractive than a daycare center (kinderdagverblijf/KDV) or after-school care (BSO) because of the individual and personal attention for the child. In addition, a childminder is often more affordable and flexible. You can choose the most suitable childminder yourself and always count on a fixed, trusted person who cares for your child.
Subsidy & costs
We support parents with the application for childcare benefit (kinderopvangtoeslag) by providing an annual overview with which you can apply for childcare benefit at the Tax and Customs Administration. Trust & screening
Our screening process for childminders (gastouders) is thorough and meets all legal requirements. Childminders must at minimum have an MBO diploma in Care and Welfare Assistance, a Children's First Aid certificate (Oranje Kruis), and a Certificate of Good Conduct (VOG). Housemates aged 18 and older must also have a VOG. We carry out at least 2 home visits per year to childminders and check the care location for safety and hygiene. In addition, we hold annual performance reviews and evaluate the care with parents. Childminders are registered in the LRK and must work according to our protocols and guidelines.
Gastouderbureau Samen CreaCtief is a registered childminder bureau (gastouderbureau) in the National Childcare and Preschool Register (LRKP). Our childminders (gastouders) and the bureau are regularly inspected by the Municipal Health Service (GGD), and the inspection reports are public and available via our website or the register. All childminders have a Certificate of Good Conduct (VOG), as do their housemates over 18. In addition, childminders have a valid first aid certificate for children and work according to our protocols for safety, health, and the reporting code for domestic violence and child abuse.
