We mediate between parents and reliable, experienced, and registered childminders. Every child is unique, which is why we don't simply look for the nearest childminder, but create a tailored match that aligns with your wishes and your child's needs.
Together we draw up a search profile and first look in our database for suitable childminders. If not found, we immediately put the request out externally. Because we know our childminders personally, we can make a good match. Searching for the perfect childminder is completely free — you pay no mediation or agency fees during the search process.
Subsidy & costs
We register our childminders with the National Childcare Register (Landelijk Register Kinderopvang), so that parents may be eligible for childcare benefit (kinderopvangtoeslag). The benefit is calculated based on your income. You can do a trial calculation using the calculator tool from the Tax and Customs Administration (Belastingdienst).
We advise parents to do a trial calculation themselves to gain insight into the possible benefit. The amount of the benefit depends on your income, the number of children in care, and the hourly rate of the childminder. Our childminders determine their own hourly rate, which varies per childminder.
Our rates are very low because we work from home and have no employees on payroll. While searching for the best match, no mediation fees or registration fees are charged.
Only when a placement has taken place and an agreement has been reached between childminder and parent, our rate of €1.20 per child per hour is charged. This rate is already included in the hourly rate of our childminder and consists of guidance, mediation, ongoing checks such as carrying out the RI&E, and financial administrative handling.
Contracts are possible from a minimum of 22 hours per child per month. Childminders determine their own hourly rate, which varies per childminder.
Trust & screening
Our screening of childminders comprises multiple steps to ensure quality and safety. Childminders must meet legal requirements such as a suitable diploma, first aid certificate focused on children, and registration in the Childcare Persons Register with a valid Certificate of Conduct (VOG/Verklaring Omtrent Gedrag).
Additionally, we conduct intake interviews, inspect the childcare location, and check whether household members and other structurally present persons also have a VOG. We carry out annual risk assessments (RI&E) for safety and health, and monitor the quality of care. Our childminders are personally known by the agency.
