Summary

The annual inspection by GGD regio Utrecht of childminder agency (gastouderbureau) KidsCentral in Woerden shows a mixed picture. The agency, active since 2005 with 41 affiliated childminders, meets requirements regarding pedagogical policy, but has shortcomings in personnel, safety and health, and parental rights. At three childminders, valid Certificates of Conduct (Verklaringen Omtrent het Gedrag/VOG) were missing for structural present persons in the Childcare Personnel Register (Personenregister Kinderopvang/PRK), a repeat of an earlier violation from 2024. For safety and health, numerous shortcomings were identified in risk assessments at affiliated childminders. A childminder overview for parents was also missing from the website. Both issues have been remedied following a recovery offer. The agency is preparing for new quality requirements effective 1 July 2026.
