Our childminders (gastouders) and nannies are pedagogically trained, have years of experience, and receive intensive guidance. You only pay for the hours you actually use, billed per quarter hour, which ensures flexibility and transparency in costs. Subsidy & costs
Parents are entitled to childcare benefit (kinderopvangtoeslag) when using Just-4-Kids, as we are registered in the National Childcare Register (LRK). To receive the benefit, parents must meet several conditions: Dutch nationality or valid residence permit, receiving child benefit, the child is not yet in secondary education, and at least one parent works or receives a contribution from the municipality/UWV. At Just-4-Kids, you only pay for the hours you actually use, and we bill per quarter hour. This ensures transparency and prevents unnecessarily high costs. For 2026, we advise a rate of €8.49 per hour for childminder (gastouder) care (excluding childcare benefit/kinderopvangtoeslag). Childminders (gastouders) are free to set their own rate, but we advise this amount. For nanny care at home, we work with customised rates tailored to your specific situation. A minimum number of hours per month is required to build and maintain the bond between childminder (gastouder) and child.
Trust & screening
All childminders (gastouders) and nannies at Just-4-Kids undergo a careful screening. They must be qualified to at least level 2 in care and welfare, hold a valid first aid certificate for children, and have a Certificate of Good Conduct (VOG). We also check their experience and motivation. After placement, we continue to intensively guide our childminders (gastouders) and nannies and offer regular further training through workshops and courses. They repeat the First Aid for Children course annually.
Just-4-Kids meets all legal requirements for childminder agencies (gastouderbureaus). We are registered in the National Childcare Register (LRK), which means parents are entitled to childcare benefit (kinderopvangtoeslag). Our agency is regularly inspected by GGD West-Brabant and the inspection reports are publicly available. We are a member of the childcare sector organisation, have a childminder committee (gastoudercommissie), and are affiliated with the disputes committee. We work according to protocols for sudden infant death syndrome, child abuse, and quality guidelines.
