Childminder care (gastouderopvang) through Gastouderbureau de Veenborg falls under the Childcare Act (Wet Kinderopvang), which means parents are entitled to childcare benefit (kinderopvangtoeslag) from the Tax and Customs Administration. This benefit is income-dependent and can also be applied for by non-working parents who, for example, are following a (re-)integration programme, taking a civic integration course, or studying at a recognised educational institution. Billing is processed through our online administration system, Portabase, where you can always view your hours, invoices, and contracts. The bureau fulfils the legally required cashier function, whereby we collect the childcare fees and pay out the childminders within a few days after parents have approved the hour registration.

Gastouderbureau de Veenborg is a recognised and registered bureau under the Childcare Act (Wet Kinderopvang). All childminders are inspected by the GGD (municipal health service) and have a unique registration number in the National Childcare Register (Landelijk Register Kinderopvang). We have an internal complaints procedure in accordance with statutory requirements and offer parents the opportunity to join the parent committee. To date, the Disputes Committee has never handled a complaint about our bureau.
