Subsidy & costs
The costs for childminder care (gastouderopvang) consist of two parts: the fee for the childminder (gastouder) (agreed upon in consultation) and the mediation and guidance costs of the childminder agency (gastouderbureau). The agency rate is €2.05 per hour for the first child under 4 years (minimum 10 hours, maximum 55 hours per month) or €1.55 for second and subsequent children (minimum 10 hours, maximum 40 hours). For families with one child over 4 years, the rate is €2.05 per hour (minimum 10 hours, maximum 30 hours). Only hours actually used are invoiced, plus any meal costs. The net costs depend on the childcare benefit (kinderopvangtoeslag).

De Hoeksche School Kinderopvang is affiliated with the Brancheorganisatie Kinderopvang (Childcare Industry Association) and applies the terms established by them in collaboration with the Consumentenbond and Boink. We have an internal complaints procedure and are affiliated with the Geschillencommissie Kinderopvang (Childcare Disputes Committee).
