Parents using childminder care (gastouderopvang) via Bambini are entitled to childcare benefit (kinderopvangtoeslag) from the Tax and Customs Administration. The amount of the benefit depends on factors such as the number of childcare hours, the hourly rate and the parents' income. The agency supports parents in applying for the benefit and helps with trial calculations via the Tax Administration's calculation module.

Bambini provides an annual statement each year for parents and childminders that can be used for the Income Tax return. The agency acts as a cashier function and arranges automatic collection of childcare fees and payment to childminders.

Gastouderbureau Bambini applies transparent rates. The advisory rates for 2026 have been set at a gross hourly rate of €8.49 per child for day, night and weekend care. This rate excludes meal allowance, whereby childminders may charge a reasonable amount according to Nibud guidelines.

Parents only pay for the actual hours used, without extra hours at the beginning or end of the day and without paid holidays. The agency acts as a cashier function and arranges automatic collection of childcare fees, with payment to childminders within 5 calendar days.

All childminders at Bambini undergo careful screening. They must meet selection criteria including a pedagogical qualification, a valid first aid certificate for children and a Certificate of Conduct (Verklaring Omtrent Gedrag). Childminders work according to the agency's Pedagogical Policy Plan and receive regular further training through theme evenings on topics such as nutrition, speech therapy and language development.

The agency carries out risk assessments at childcare locations and guides childminders in creating a safe childcare environment. Annual evaluations and GGD inspections safeguard continuous quality.

Gastouderbureau Bambini meets all statutory quality requirements and is GGD-approved. The agency has drawn up a Quality Covenant and received a dispute-free certificate from the Childcare Disputes Committee in 2024. All childminders hold a pedagogical qualification, a valid first aid certificate for children and a Certificate of Conduct (Verklaring Omtrent Gedrag).

The agency works with a Pedagogical Policy Plan and organises regular theme evenings for the professional development of childminders. Inspection reports are publicly accessible via the National Childcare Register.
