GGD Kennemerland conducted an unannounced annual inspection on 25 September 2025 at childminder G.S. Sint-Schipper at Lorentzkade 36 in Haarlem. The childminder provides childminder/host parent care (gastouderopvang) through Gastouderbureau Opvangtotaal for up to six children, currently her three own grandchildren. Almost all areas met the legal requirements directly: registration, pedagogical climate, requirements for the childminder, and accommodation and furnishings. One violation was identified: due to renovation work, a smoke detector was temporarily missing on the landing of the first floor. The childminder received a recovery offer and installed the smoke detector within three weeks (19 October 2025), after which the requirement was met. The Municipal Health Service (GGD) advises against enforcement.
