About this care
Welcome to Filimo – Jacob van Campenstraat, our after-school care (BSO) location in the heart of Nijmegen. We are part of Filimo Kindcentrum, a young and dynamic organisation that has provided reliable after-school care for children aged 4 to 12 since 2015.
Our site at Jacob van Campenstraat 8 offers two welcoming BSO rooms. BSO Group 1 is a close-knit base group for up to 20 children; BSO Group 2 accommodates the remaining children, giving us a total capacity of about 60–64 primary-school children. Groups are arranged horizontally, so children of the same age play, explore and relax together after a busy school day.
At Filimo we believe every child should feel safe, seen and challenged. Parents are always welcome to drop in: “Come and have a look!” We are happy to arrange a tour or introductory chat at a time that suits you. Just call 024-8457974 or email info@filimo.nl.

BSO Filimo on Jacob van Campenstraat in Nijmegen received an unannounced annual inspection on 28 July 2025. Following a recovery offer, the location meets all statutory quality requirements. The pedagogical practice scores well: children experience emotional safety, receive purposeful development activities (drama, sports, technology), and learn social skills and norms. The group rooms, gymnasium, and studio provide sufficient challenge. All staff members are appropriately qualified and staffing levels meet the required ratio.
