About this care
Fantaziehuis 't Weiland KDV is a warm and homely daycare centre located in the heart of Leidsche Rijn, Utrecht. We provide care for children aged 0 to 4 in a vertical group where babies, toddlers and pre-schoolers play and learn together. The centre is centrally situated within the neighbourhood and close to main roads, making it easy for parents to reach us.
Our team of dedicated pedagogical staff brings out the best in every child each day. We spark curiosity through fun and educational activities such as toddler sports, theatre and music workshops. Our spacious group rooms and large outdoor playground offer plenty of room to explore, move and grow at each child’s own pace. We believe in the power of togetherness: children, parents and colleagues form a close-knit team in which everyone feels safe and valued.
Our approach is personal and flexible. We give children the space to be themselves and tailor their development to their individual needs. Summary
The GGD inspection report dated 24 August 2026 concerns a follow-up investigation at Fantaziehuis 't Weiland daycare center (kinderdagverblijf/KDV) in Utrecht. This investigation followed a violation identified in May 2026: a staff member in training was deployed alone on a group without a qualified staff member present. The provider received a formal directive from the municipality on 6 August 2026. During the follow-up investigation, including a site visit on 7 September 2026, it was established that the location now complies with statutory requirements. The staff member in training is now correctly deployed together with a qualified staff member, the team is well informed, and agreements have been made regarding structural embedding. The shortcoming has been remedied.
