Summary

On 9 July 2026, GGD Hollands Midden conducted an unannounced incidental inspection at after-school care (BSO) Expeditie in Alphen aan den Rijn. The inspection assessed whether the location meets the requirements for a temporary expansion from 48 to 92 childcare places. The extra children from BSO Backpackers will be accommodated here from 20 July to 21 August 2026 during renovation work at their own location. The inspection assessed the accommodation requirements, including sufficient indoor and outdoor play space. The location has sufficient spaces on the first floor and ground floor, including an additional classroom, assembly hall, hallway and two schoolyards. Both indoors and outdoors, there is sufficient surface area for 92 children. The conclusion is that the inspected conditions have been met. The licence holder responded positively to the advice.
