Eigen&Wijzer PO IKC Sint Bonifacius Reahûs

Eigen&Wijzer Peuteropvang Reahûs is located within the Integral Child Centre (IKC) Sint Bonifacius at Sânleansterdyk 20 in Reahûs. As part of the national Eigen&Wijzer organization, we provide both daycare (0-4 years) and toddler care (2-4 years) at this location. Our facility has been officially registered in the National Childcare Register since July 16, 2013, under number 772804928, with a capacity of 23 childcare places. We operate from the vision that every child is unique and has a natural drive to develop. Our certified pedagogical professionals provide development-oriented care in a safe, nature-rich environment. For the youngest children (0-4 years), our daycare is a wonderful place where children can discover the world around them. The focus is on well-being, enjoyment and development. Through play, children develop their language, speech, thinking, motor skills, play and social-emotional abilities. The daily rhythm aligns with the home situation, with parent communication being a priority. For toddlers aged 2-4 years, we offer toddler care on Monday, Tuesday and Thursday mornings from 08:30 – 12:00. During these toddler mornings, children experience rapid development. Our pedagogical staff align with each child's development and specifically stimulate growth in language, speech, thinking, motor skills, play and social-emotional areas. Both indoor and outdoor spaces are designed to challenge children to play and discover. By age four, children are well-prepared for primary education. On Mondays, Tuesdays and Thursdays, we provide full-day childcare from 07:00 – 17:30/18:15. We prefer to spend as much time outdoors as possible, which benefits development, well-being and health. Together with education, we ensure good school preparation through pre-school education (VVE).
