About this care
Dragons Den is a unique after-school care (BSO) located at Eisingastraat 2 in Noordwijk. Originally established for children of ESA-ESTEC employees, we also welcome children of parents who do not work for ESA-ESTEC.
Our beautiful building with spacious garden offers countless opportunities for children to develop themselves in various ways. We provide bilingual care in both Dutch and English, where children naturally become familiar with two languages. During full days of BSO, we serve a freshly cooked hot meal on-site, prepared with care and attention to healthy nutrition.
The pedagogy of Humankind fully comes into its own at our location. We believe in the importance of outdoor play and provide a spacious, safe garden where children can romp, discover and play. Our opening hours are from 7.30 to 18.30, allowing us to flexibly accommodate parents' working hours.

Summary
The Municipal Health Service (GGD) Hollands Midden conducted an unannounced annual inspection at after-school care (BSO) Dragons Den in Noordwijk on 18 June 2026. The location, part of Stichting Humankind, offers 32 childcare places and is open on Monday, Tuesday and Thursday. All assessed quality requirements in the areas of pedagogical climate, staff and groups, and safety and health have been fully met.
