About this care
Dotjes Mini Kids is a small-scale daycare centre for children aged 0 to 4 years located in the heart of Roosendaal, close to the Vrouwenhof playground. We are situated at Nispensestraat 49a and accommodate a maximum of 16 children in one vertical group. Our location is open 52 weeks per year, Monday to Friday from 7:30 AM to 6:00 PM.
We operate with flexible hours and offer various forms of childcare: per hour, regular care (minimum 2 fixed half-days of 5.25 hours) and flexible care (minimum 2 separate half-days) for parents with varying shifts. A half-day consists of 5.25 hours of care, either from 7:30 AM - 12:45 PM or 12:45 PM - 6:00 PM.
At Dotjes Mini Kids, cosiness and fun come first. We follow your baby's daily rhythm so your child experiences the same routine as at home. We take plenty of time to play, talk and ensure your little one feels safe and secure. Fruit and water or juice for your child is provided by us. Younger children may bring their favourite cuddly toy for sleeping, so they can rest well before continuing to play refreshed.

Strengths

Violations
- Safety and health policy: a broken door finger guard provided no protection against entrapment hazard, and an electrical junction box was unsafely finished with risk of exposure to electrical components. These risks had already been inventoried on 27 November 2025 but had not yet been remedied at the time of inspection.
Summary
The annual inspection by GGD West-Brabant on 26 February 2026 at daycare center (kinderdagverblijf/KDV) Dotjes mini kids in Roosendaal shows predominantly positive results. The location provides care for a maximum of 16 children aged 0 to 4 years. Almost all components directly meet statutory requirements: pedagogical climate, personnel and groups, accommodation, and parental rights. Only in safety and health was a violation identified. A broken door finger guard and an unsafely finished electrical junction box posed a risk to children, while these deficiencies had been inventoried earlier but not remedied. The Municipal Health Service (GGD) issued a recovery offer with a deadline of 19 March 2026. The holder remedied the deficiencies on 5 March 2026, after which the GGD confirmed this. The advice to the municipality is: no enforcement, as the violation has been remedied.
