About this care
Do Re Mi is a modern and spacious daycare center located at Boedijnhof 154 in Hoorn. We provide care for children aged 0 to 4 years on the lower floor of our building. Our location is easily accessible via the N506 provincial road and is situated near various parks and playgrounds.
For children aged 3 and above, we regularly offer Driesprong activities. These activities focus on developing important skills for a successful start at primary school through play-based learning. We create a rich pedagogical environment where we approach and guide each child as an individual.
Our daycare center is part of Stichting Kinderopvang West-Friesland, which has been providing professional childcare in West-Friesland for over forty years. We are open from 7:00 AM to 6:30 PM and can accommodate up to 55 children.Read more

Daycare center (kinderdagverblijf/KDV) DoReMi in Hoorn, part of Stichting Kinderopvang West-Friesland (SCIO-Groep), was inspected on 2 July 2026 by the Municipal Health Service (GGD) Hollands Noorden. This concerned an unannounced incidental inspection following an expansion from 32 to 48 childcare places and the temporary housing of a toddler group. The location meets all assessed conditions. The accommodation has sufficient indoor and outdoor play space (190.4 m² indoor, 377 m² outdoor). The pedagogical policy and administration are in order.
