Daycare center (kinderdagverblijf/KDV) Betelgeuze offers a warm, safe place in the heart of a quiet residential neighbourhood in Lemmer. Peace and space or running around and romping about — children are different, so our childcare options are too. Every day, we make use of everything the neighbourhood has to offer. Our location is also home to an after-school care (BSO) and two toddler playgroup groups, so we have everything under one roof. Great for the children, practical for parents. Toddler daycare Het Stroomdal by Doomijn in Zwolle was inspected by GGD IJsselland on 4 February 2026. This was an unannounced inspection following registration for a subsidized early childhood education (VE) toddler daycare location with 16 childcare places (current use: maximum 5 children per day). All inspected domains comply with the Childcare Act: general conditions, pedagogical climate, staff and groups, safety and health, accommodation, and parental rights. The pedagogical practice demonstrates sensitive and responsive care, with attention to emotional safety and development of personal competence. The early childhood education uses the Pyramid method, which is still in the process of being launched. The location will change the number of childcare places from 16 to 14.
