About this care
Welcome to Doomijn BSO Sportlaan, a colourful and spacious after-school care centre in the heart of Zwolle. We are located in the Integral Child Centre ‘Het Festival’ at Sportlaan 8, where there is always something going on. Together with the children, we come up with the most fun activities: we exercise and play sports with Sportservice Zwolle, make music with our music teachers, dance with dance teachers and give creativity free rein together with Jut and the Wonder Hut. Older children plan their own afternoon: cooking, baking, playing outside or just reading – anything goes.
Throughout the year we work around educational themes with extra attention to exercise, creativity and interaction with each other. This keeps every day fun and challenging. We encourage playful exploration of the world and challenge children to discover their talents. We do this in a safe, relaxed atmosphere where fun comes first.

GGD IJsselland conducted an unannounced incidental inspection at Doomijn BSO Sportlaan in Zwolle on 15 July 2026. The inspection concerned an application to expand the number of childcare places from 150 to 180. The location, housed in integraal kindcentrum Het Festival in the Stadshagen district, provides after-school care (BSO) and holiday care. All assessed domains – general quality conditions and compliance, staff and groups, and accommodation – meet the legal requirements. The indoor play area of 829 m² is sufficient for the expansion, group sizes remain within legal maximums, and the spaces are safe and appropriately furnished. During the summer holiday, some group rooms were temporarily unavailable due to floor maintenance, but this did not affect care provision at the time. No violations or areas for improvement were identified.
