The Municipal Health Service (GGD) inspection report of 14 April 2026 concerns an unannounced investigation following registration of Dikkie Dik childcare centre, a toddler care facility (peuteropvang) with preschool education for 28 children (ages 2–4) in Rotterdam. The location has temporarily moved to Herenoord 18 due to new construction. Most quality requirements were found to be in order, including administration, pedagogical practice, preschool education, personnel, and safety. There was one violation: the pedagogical policy plan contained incorrect information regarding exceptions to the staff-child ratio and tasks of staff in training, while these do not apply to a location with preschool education. The holder made use of the recovery offer and the amended policy plan has been approved. Previous violations from 2025 (group transitions without parental consent, missing parent committee) have been resolved. The advice to the municipality is: no enforcement.
