Dichtbij gastouderbureau mediates and advises on childcare for your child with a childminder (gastouder). You can determine yourself, in consultation with the childminder, when your child is cared for.
We provide childcare for children up to 13 years old and work exclusively with qualified childminders who meet strict quality standards. All childminders have a paediatric first aid certificate and receive regular training. The childminder agency knows the childminders personally through regular contact.
You are eligible for childcare benefit (kinderopvangtoeslag) because Dichtbij is a recognised childminder agency, registered in the National Childcare Register (LRK). We do not charge registration fees and arrange payments for you.
Subsidy & costs
Parents are eligible for childcare benefit (kinderopvangtoeslag) because Dichtbij is a recognised childminder agency, registered in the National Childcare Register (LRK). In 2026, the maximum hourly rate for which you receive benefit is €8.49 for childminder childcare.
The childcare benefit depends on your income and covers at least 33% up to 96% of the childcare costs. Do you have two or more children in childcare? Then the benefit from the second child onwards is higher than for the first child. You can apply for the benefit via www.toeslagen.nl or via the childcare benefit app up to 3 months after the start of childcare.
Does the number of childcare hours, the childcare location, or your income change? Then report this to the Tax and Customs Administration to prevent additional payments.
The base rate for childminder childcare in 2026 is €8.68 per hour, consisting of the recommended rate for childminders of €7.28 and agency costs of €1.40. Childminders may deviate from the recommended rate.
The agency costs are a maximum of €96.50 per child per month: for up to 68 hours of childcare per month, the agency costs are €1.40 per hour; from 69 hours of childcare per month, you pay a maximum of €96.50 per child per month. There are no registration fees.
Monthly, you receive an invoice based on the hours filled in by the childminder, for which you have given approval. The invoice follows after the end of the childcare month and is collected around the 10th of the month via direct debit.
Trust & screening
All childminders at Dichtbij are carefully screened and must meet strict quality requirements. They are qualified and have, for example, a paediatric first aid certificate. Childminders receive regular training to keep their knowledge and skills up to date.
The childminder agency knows all childminders personally through regular contact. Annually, we check whether childminders' homes are safe, child-friendly, and clean. In addition, we evaluate the childminder childcare and childminders work in accordance with our pedagogical policy.
Dichtbij gastouderbureau is a recognised agency registered in the National Childcare Register (LRK). We meet all legal requirements and are regularly inspected by the GGD (Municipal Health Service). You can consult the inspection reports of our agency and individual childminders via the LRK.
We work in accordance with the Reporting Code on Domestic Violence and Child Abuse. If a childminder suspects that a child is being abused at home, we enter into conversation with the parents. Our childminders receive guidelines for healthy nutrition and work in accordance with our pedagogical policy.
Annually, we check whether childminders' homes are safe, child-friendly, and clean, so that children are cared for in a safe and trusted environment. We regularly evaluate the childminder childcare.
