About this care
Welcome to De Wijze Uil, our daycare centre located at Dreef 1 in Deventer. We provide professional childcare for children aged 0 to 4 years in a homely, nature-rich setting. Thanks to our small-scale approach we can welcome a maximum of 16 children at a time, guaranteeing peace, safety and personal attention.
De Wijze Uil is part of R.C. Kids B.V. and has been officially registered in the National Childcare Register since 27 September 2023 under LRK number 993760284. Our location is easily accessible, situated in a quiet residential area with ample parking facilities.
Everything we do revolves around safety, trust and development. Our experienced pedagogical staff follow a clear pedagogical policy that connects with the world of experience of young children. We respect each child’s individual daily rhythm and tailor activities to the age and developmental stage of every child.
Because of our small group size we can offer a great deal of individual attention and respond quickly to each child’s needs. We work closely with parents and keep you informed of daily experiences, sleeping times and meals through a parent app.

Summary
Daycare center (kinderdagverblijf/KDV) De Wijze Uil in Deventer, part of R.C. Kids, was inspected by Municipal Health Service (GGD) IJsselland on 7 September 2026. The unannounced annual inspection showed that the location meets all assessed quality requirements. The 16-place early childhood education (VE)-subsidised location offers both daycare and after-school care (BSO). The pedagogical climate, staff and groups, safety and health, and parental rights were all assessed positively. No violations or areas for improvement were identified. The advice to the municipality is 'no enforcement action'.
