About this care
De Vuurtoren Daycare is a modern facility on the edge of Castricum. The large garden is a true paradise for little explorers! We provide care for children aged 0 to 4 years. Our spaces are optimally designed for this age group, so everyone can play, eat and sleep comfortably, with plenty of room for personal development. There is a beautifully enclosed playground with ample space to run, climb, slide and play. We work with a fixed daily schedule that gives children structure, safety and routine. Summary
The follow-up investigation at daycare center (kinderdagverblijf/KDV) De Vuurtoren in Castricum, conducted on 13 January 2026, shows that the previously identified violation has been resolved. The location had a violation regarding stability of care in September 2025: children were moved to groups other than their fixed group without proper consent. Following a recovery offer and formal instruction from the municipality, the situation is now in order. Reviewed attendance records and staff schedules show that children are now consistently placed in one fixed group. The Municipal Health Service (GGD) advises no enforcement action.
