Daycare center (kinderdagverblijf/KDV) De Vlieger in Arnhem, part of Skar B.V., was inspected on 10 March 2026. The location accommodates up to 32 children aged 2 to 4 years and provides early childhood education (voorschoolse educatie). The annual inspection presents a predominantly positive picture: in all assessed areas (pedagogical climate, staff and groups, safety and health, accommodation), the location meets the statutory requirements. One point of attention was identified regarding the reporting code for domestic violence and child abuse. Due to frequent changes in location managers, this element was unclear to the team. The new location manager addressed this the same day with a team discussion and action plan, which was sent directly to the supervisory authority. No violations were identified and no recovery offer (herstelaanbod) was issued.
