Welcome to De Triangel, location Maranatha at Grieglaan 4 in Nijkerk. We are part of the Foundation for Christian Playgroup De Triangel and provide toddler care for children from 2 years and 3 months up to 4 years old. At our location, a maximum of 16 children can play and learn in a cozy and safe environment.
We focus on learning through play. Our skilled and enthusiastic staff members Femke, Mirjam and Aline guide the toddlers in activities aimed at developing confidence and independence. We work with age-mates in horizontal groups, using VVE programs (preschool education) to ensure a smooth transition to primary school.
Our Maranatha location is situated on the edge of the Paasbos residential area and features its own outdoor playground where children can romp and explore. We offer both morning and afternoon sessions, with parents able to drop off their children between 8:30-9:00 AM and pick them up between 11:45 AM-12:15 PM.
As a Christian playgroup, values such as respect, love and care for one another form the basis of our daily interactions. We believe it is important that every child feels seen and loved in our community.Read more

Summary
Location Maranatha of De Triangel, a toddler daycare (peuteropvang) for a maximum of 16 children at primary school Maranatha in Nijkerk, was inspected unannounced on 21 January 2026. The location provides early education (voorschoolse educatie/VE) using the programme 'Bas in de klas' to children from 2 years and 3 months up to school age. All examined domains – pedagogical climate, staff and groups, safety and health, and parental rights – meet the statutory requirements. The pedagogical staff work with a renewed approach whereby children are less frequently interrupted in their play for separate activities, but are deepened in their play instead. No violations or areas for improvement were identified. The holder has consistently met all conditions since 2018. The advice to the municipality is: no enforcement.
