About this care
De Terp (bijgebouw) is our after-school care (BSO) location at Nieuwendijk 38 in Rosmalen. We provide enjoyable and safe out-of-school care for up to 40 children aged 4 to 12. Our team is ready every weekday from the end of the school day until 6:30 p.m. During school holidays we are open all day, from 7:30 a.m. to 6:30 p.m., so parents can rely on us then as well.
Everything we do revolves around relaxation, fun and new experiences. The children help decide which activities we do: one day they choose a game, the next we get creative or organise a sporty workshop. We believe it is important that children feel free to share their own ideas and shape the afternoon together with friends.
Our location has a nature garden where children can romp and discover. We regularly put on our boots to play outside and experience the seasons. There is also plenty of room for rest and cosiness inside, with corners where children can read, do crafts or simply relax after a busy school day.
Before-school care is also available: from 7:30 a.m. children can already come to us before going to school. Summary
The annual inspection of 13 January 2026 at after-school care (BSO) De Terp (annex building) in Rosmalen, part of Kanteel Kinderopvang, showed that the location initially did not comply in two areas. Regarding the pedagogical climate, there was insufficient structure and clarity for children, with inconsistent agreements between staff. Regarding staff and groups, written parental consent was missing for settling in at a second base group. Both violations have been resolved through a recovery offer, after which the location meets all requirements. Parent rights were in order from the outset. The advice to the municipality is no enforcement action.
