Summary

Daycare center De Speelmaatjes (kinderdagverblijf/KDV) in Doetinchem, part of Stichting Avonturijn, was inspected on 2 July 2026 by the Municipal Health Service (GGD) Noord- en Oost-Gelderland. The annual investigation showed that the location meets all assessed quality requirements following a recovery offer. The pedagogical practice was positively assessed: childcare professionals provide a safe, challenging environment in which children are playfully stimulated in their development. The early childhood education is well organized with sufficient hours and qualified staff. However, a violation was identified regarding accommodation: the outdoor space had an unsafe situation due to storm damage to an overhanging tree and the presence of stinging nettles. The provider resolved this within the set deadline. The advice to the municipality is: no enforcement.
