Summary

De Sleutel is a toddler daycare with pre-school education for 30 children aged 2-4 years in Rotterdam. The inspection on 26 June 2025 assessed pedagogical policy, practice, pre-school education and personnel matters. The pedagogical practice, stability of groups, Certificates of Good Conduct (VOGs) and deployment of the pedagogical policy staff member are in order. There were deficiencies in the pedagogical policy (communication of mentor role, organisation of activities outside the group) and in the pre-school education training plan (language, numeracy, motor skills, social-emotional development). After the recovery offer, the location amended the documents and now meets all requirements. No violations were found. The municipality is advised not to enforce.
