De Rotterdamse Peuterschool, location OBS Dakpark is located in the same building as Openbare Basisschool Dakpark at Catharina Beersmansstraat 80 in Rotterdam. We provide toddler care for children aged 2 to 4 years in a safe and familiar environment. Our location has 15 childcare places and works closely with the primary school, ensuring a smooth transition to primary education.
As part of De Rotterdamse Peuterschool, we believe every child deserves an optimal start. We prepare toddlers for primary school through play-based learning that stimulates their development into independent, social and resilient children. Our activities focus on teaching skills that are important for a successful school career.

Summary
De Rotterdamse Peuterschool, location OBS Dakpark, provides toddler care (peuteropvang) with early childhood education for up to 15 children aged 2–4 years. The Municipal Health Service (GGD) inspection of 7 July 2025 shows that the location meets all assessed statutory quality requirements. The pedagogical policy is clearly described and the pedagogical practice was assessed as 'in order' during observations. The early childhood education follows the Uk & Puk programme, with sufficient hours, qualified staff, parent involvement, and a pedagogical policy staff member. All staff members are registered in the Childcare Personnel Register (Personenregister Kinderopvang) and hold a Certificate of Conduct (Verklaring Omtrent Gedrag/VOG). An adult with a valid first aid certificate is always present. No parent committee has been established, but this is permitted due to the small size; parents are involved in other ways.
