De Rotterdamse Peuterschool, location De Klimop Oude Noorden is a daycare facility specifically for toddlers aged 2 to 4 years. We are located in the heart of Oude Noorden in Rotterdam, at Rembrandtstraat 27. As part of De Rotterdamse Peuterschool, we provide a safe and familiar environment where toddlers are playfully stimulated to take steps in their development. We work closely with primary school De Klimop, ensuring a smooth transition to elementary school.
Our preschool is specially designed for children aged 2 to 4 years. We offer preschool education where we stimulate language development and work on social skills. Children learn through play and get acquainted with different developmental areas in a playful manner. We work in small groups with a maximum of 14 children, allowing us to give individual attention to each child.
We are housed in the Kindcentrum De Klimop, where we collaborate with the primary school and other facilities. This creates a continuous line in your child's development. Peuteropvang De Klim op in Rotterdam, part of KindeRdam Kinderopvang B.V., was inspected by the Municipal Health Service (GGD) on 15 September 2026. The location provides toddler daycare (peuteropvang) for 14 children aged 2 to 4 years and delivers early childhood education using the Uk & Puk method. All assessed quality requirements were found sufficient: pedagogical policy, pedagogical practice, early childhood education, deployment of pedagogical policy staff member, certificates of conduct (VOG), and parent committee. The pedagogical practice demonstrated a relaxed atmosphere with sensitive guidance. No violations or areas for improvement were identified. The operator took over the location from Stichting Peuter&Co on 1 January 2026. No recovery offer was issued. The previous inspection in 2024 showed a violation that was resolved through a recovery offer. The GGD advises no enforcement action.
