Summary

GGD inspection at daycare center (kinderdagverblijf/KDV) De Rietkraag in Boskoop, conducted on 11 September 2025. The location provides care for a maximum of 55 children aged 0-4 years and delivers early education (voorschoolse educatie/VE) following the Piramide programme. During the inspection visit, it emerged that the layout of the VE group the Papegaaien did not comply with the pedagogical policy: the room appeared empty and bare, no theme was visible and play corners contained no materials. As a result, two quality requirements were not met: pedagogical policy and early education. The location received a recovery offer and submitted an action plan with photos of the reconfigured space on 9 October 2025. The GGD established that all shortcomings have since been resolved. Other areas such as pedagogical practice, staff qualifications, staff-child ratios and deployment of the pedagogical policy staff member were assessed without shortcomings. The advice to the municipality is to take no enforcement measures.
