About this care
Welcome to Ska Kindcentrum De Puntmuts, located at Puntenburgerlaan 100 in the Soesterkwartier district of Amersfoort. As part of Ska Kinderopvang, we provide daycare for children aged 0 to 4 years in a safe, home-like environment where every child is given space to develop at their own pace.
Our location is specially designed for the youngest children. We work in small, age-based groups so that each child receives the personal attention they deserve. For babies and toddlers, we offer quiet sleeping areas, bottle feeding, and all necessary care. Toddlers are given increasingly challenging activities tailored to their curiosity and developmental stage.
We use the recognized development programmes Uk & Puk and Piramide. These programmes help our pedagogical staff stimulate language, motor skills, and social interaction through play. We believe it’s important for children to explore the world around them, both indoors and outdoors. That’s why we have a spacious garden where children play and learn every day.
Healthy nutrition is part of healthy development. We serve fresh fruit and healthy snacks daily. For the youngest children, we provide bottle feeding and adapted meals as needed.

Summary
The GGD annual inspection of 2 April 2026 at daycare center (kinderdagverblijf/KDV) Ska Kindcentrum De Puntmuts in Amersfoort showed a mixed picture. The location complies with regard to staffing, groups, and parental rights. However, with regard to the pedagogical climate, there was an incidental situation in which staffing deployment was insufficient to guarantee calmness and emotional safety, particularly due to a restless group composition with a settling-in baby and a crying child. The location manager responded adequately with a recovery offer: structural discussion of group workload, timely requests for assistance, and deployment of additional interns. The Municipal Health Service (GGD) concludes that the measures address the bottlenecks and are likely to be effective.
