Welcome to De Polderkids, our daycare centre located at Heer Willem van Egmondstraat 1 in Polsbroek. Since 9 January 2024 we have been welcoming up to 16 children aged 0 to 4 in this homely setting, situated within the Christian primary school Eben Haezer. As part of Waardse Kids we follow a well-considered pedagogical policy with qualified staff and guaranteed safe materials. We provide early childhood education (VE) so that every child is stimulated from an early age. Parents stay connected through our parent app Konnect, where we share personal photos and messages so you can literally follow the adventures your child experiences with us. Summary
De Polderkids in Polsbroek, a toddler daycare (peuteropvang) for children aged 2 to 4, was inspected on 19 May 2026 by the Municipal Health Service (GGD) Utrecht region. The location meets all assessed quality requirements regarding pedagogical climate and staff and groups. The pedagogical practice is evaluated positively: staff communicate respectfully, encourage independence, and guide children in social interactions. Early childhood education (voorschoolse educatie) using the Uk & Puk method is adequately implemented. However, a structural point of attention is that the opening hours (Tuesday and Friday mornings) do not meet the legal requirement of at least 960 hours of early childhood education within 1.5 years. The municipality of Lopik has a cooperation agreement for this with another location of the same provider. No violations or areas for improvement were identified.
