De Peuterhoeve

Welcome to De Peuterhoeve, a small-scale and rural daycare center located at Provincialeweg 4 in Mijnsheerenland, centrally located in the Hoeksche Waard region. We provide care for up to 32 children aged 0 to 4 years, divided into three core groups: the Lammetjes (12 children, 0-4 years), the Geitjes (8 children, 0-4 years), and the Kalfjes (12 children, 2-4 years). Our homely atmosphere and individual attention for each child are central to our vision. At De Peuterhoeve, we believe in the power of being outdoors and connecting with nature. Our location features a spacious garden where children can play, garden, and interact with animals. We offer the possibility of outdoor sleeping in special outdoor sleeping arrangements (with parental permission), allowing children to fully enjoy the fresh air. Our pedagogical staff guide children in discovering the world around them, using methods such as the CREF method and 'Birth in Map' to support basic needs and attachment. Our three core groups are horizontally structured, taking into account each child's developmental stage. We offer care from Monday to Thursday from 7:30 AM to 6:00 PM. Our meals are freshly prepared with products from the Hoeksche Waard region: we serve a warm meal as lunch 2 times per week and a bread meal 2 times per week. We accommodate special dietary needs. For the youngest ones, we provide bottle feeding and diaper changes, following a fixed daily routine that offers peace and regularity. In addition to daily activities, we stimulate sensory play and sensory development. Our pedagogical staff are professionals who guide children in their cognitive, motor, creative, and socio-emotional development. We believe it's important that children feel safe and secure, allowing them to develop optimally.
