About this care
De Klimop Daycare is located at Cartesiusstraat 2 in the centre of The Hague. We provide care for children aged 0 to 4 in a homely environment that feels like a second home. From 27 February 2023 we are open Monday to Friday, 7:00 a.m. to 6:30 p.m.
Our team consists of qualified childcare professionals with extensive experience. They guide your child with attention and expertise, so you can go to work with peace of mind. We follow an Early Childhood Education programme that stimulates language and cognitive development from the very start.
We use horizontal groups: babies, toddlers and pre-schoolers are placed separately, ensuring activities and care match each developmental stage. Half-day care is available; you can register your child in advance via our website.

GGD Haaglanden conducted an unannounced annual inspection on 14 April 2026 at toddler learning place De Klim op in 's-Gravenhage. The location provides early childhood education (VE) to a maximum of 13 toddlers aged 2.5-4 years and is part of Stichting Jongleren. Overall, the location meets the quality requirements well. The pedagogical practice is strong: children are greeted individually, encouraged in independence, and the staff communicate sensitively. One violation was identified in the domain of early childhood education: the location plan described incorrect care hours that did not match actual practice. The holder made use of a recovery offer and corrected this within the set timeframe. The GGD advises the municipality not to apply enforcement.
