About this care
Welcome to De Kleine Beer, located at Meteorenstraat 104 in Emmeloord. Our daycare centre is part of Stichting Kinderopvang Noordoostpolder (SKN) and provides care for children aged 2½ to 4 years in a safe, homely setting.
At De Kleine Beer we work with a small-scale group of up to 16 children. Our team of qualified pedagogical staff offers pre-school education (VE), focusing on language, numeracy, social skills and independence through play. This prepares your child for a smooth transition to primary school.
We are open Monday to Friday from 8:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. During these morning sessions children have plenty of room to play, explore and learn. Our daily routine is built around structure and consistency. You can register your child by e-mailing dekleinebeer@sknop.nl.

Strengths
- Pedagogical climate: practitioners work in line with policy, with attention to language enrichment and interactive reading aloud
- Pre-school education: full programme offered using Startblokken, sufficient hours (960 hours over 1.5 years), and good parental involvement
- Staff qualifications: all 3 pre-school education practitioners hold the correct diploma, VE certificate and language proficiency level 3F

Summary
The annual inspection by Municipal Health Service (GGD) Flevoland on 20 January 2026 shows that daycare center (kinderdagverblijf/KDV) De Kleine Beer in Emmeloord meets all assessed requirements under the Childcare Act.
