About this care
Welcome to De Kindervilla, our after-school care located at Emmeloordseweg 12 in Marknesse. We are part of Stichting Kinderopvang Noordoostpolder (SKN) and have been providing trusted outdoor after-school care for years in a wooded area between the ice rink and sports fields. De Kindervilla has 30 after-school care places and is officially registered in the National Childcare Register under number 522505624.
Our location is set in a natural environment where children aged 4 to 12 can play, discover and relax after school. The spacious outdoor area offers plenty of opportunities for sports and games in the fresh air. We believe it's important that children can move freely and experience nature. Our pedagogical staff guide children in activities that match their interests and developmental stage.
As an after-school care facility, we focus entirely on providing care for school-age children after school hours. We work together with primary schools in the area to ensure a smooth transition from school to after-school care. Our opening hours align with school schedules, so parents can confidently bring their children to us.

Summary
After-school care (BSO) De Kindervilla in Marknesse was inspected unannounced on 10 March 2026 by Municipal Health Service (GGD) Flevoland. The location meets all assessed requirements under the Childcare Act. The atmosphere is positive: staff are attentive to the children, listen to their stories, and encourage them to tidy up. There is one point of attention: an office space belonging to the indoor play area was locked during the visit and is insufficiently used as childcare space. The location manager has committed to improving this and keeping the space open at all times during opening hours. No violations were identified and no recovery offer was made.
