De Haren

Welcome to Kindcentrum De Haren, located in the heart of the green neighborhood De Haren, Donk and Reit in 's-Hertogenbosch. We are part of Kanteel Kinderopvang and provide childcare for children aged 0 to 13 years: daycare (0-4 years), toddler program (from 2.5 years) and after-school care (4-13 years). Our center is housed in a beautiful, contemporary building with challenging spaces where children can learn and play together. We are situated in the middle of the neighborhood and together with De Haren primary school we form one Integral Child Center (IKC). Our daycare groups - Lieveheersbeestjes, Libellen and Vuurvliegjes - work with vertical groups from 0 to 4 years. Children see the same pedagogical staff and the same group room. Older children learn to take younger children into account from an early age. We learn together. In our toddler program (Hommels, Kevers and Bijen), children from 2.5 years come to play, discover and develop. We work with themes that connect to the toddler's world. We offer early childhood education (VVE) so that every child can make a good start at primary school. Our after-school care (Sprinkhanen and Krekels) offers care after school and during holidays. We encourage children in their free time and provide space for relaxation and activities. Our pedagogical staff work from a shared vision on child development. Well-being and involvement are our starting points. All this happens in a playful way, because playing is learning. We value personal contact with parents.
