About this care
Welcome to KDV De Gong, located at Kindcentrum De Gong on Koperslagersdonk 4 in Apeldoorn. We are part of PCBO Apeldoorn and provide professional daycare services for children aged 0 to 4 years in a warm, homely environment.
At KDV De Gong, we accommodate up to 28 children across a daycare group and a toddler group. Our certified childcare professionals provide tailored care using a mixed-age group structure. This means children of different ages play and learn together, contributing to their social development.
We pay special attention to children's creative development. Our activities focus on music, art, and creative expression. We work with themes that connect to young children's world of experience and stimulate their language development through reading sessions and interactive stories. Nature also plays an important role in our offerings - children can play in our safe garden and discover what the outdoor world has to offer.
For the youngest ones, we provide diapers and wipes, and offer bottle feeding according to your child's schedule. Older children receive a healthy bread meal with fresh fruit and drinks. We take allergies and special dietary requirements into account. In our quiet sleeping rooms, children can sleep when they need to, provided with their own bedding and cuddly toys.
KDV De Gong works with Early Childhood Education (VVE), allowing us to give your child's development a flying start. We offer both full and half-day care, tailored to your needs as a parent.

Daycare center (kinderdagverblijf/KDV) De Gong of Stichting DOK13 in Apeldoorn was inspected by the Municipal Health Service (GGD) on 28 August 2026. The location, housed in primary school PCBO De Gong, provides care for 18 children through a daycare group and toddler group. The annual investigation revealed multiple shortcomings. The pedagogical policy plan was insufficiently concrete in six areas, including mentor communication, transfer to school/after-school care (BSO), staffing deployment frameworks and core group working method. The practice was also not in line with the policy: staff members had insufficient time for development-oriented work. In addition, staff schedules and attendance records were incorrectly and incompletely maintained. The provider has taken recovery measures, including supplementing the pedagogical work plan and improved registration. The GGD advises enforcement.
