The Municipal Health Service (GGD) conducted an annual inspection on 11 June 2026 at De Geheime Tuin Sport BSO Shinty Driebergen, an after-school care (BSO) for up to 46 children aged 4 to 13 years. The location is housed in the canteen of hockey club DMHC Shinty. All investigated domains – pedagogical climate, staff and groups, safety and health, and parental rights – meet statutory requirements. The pedagogical practice shows positive examples, such as guiding children through conflicts. No violations were identified during this inspection. It was noted that the location is actively recruiting members for a parent committee, which is not mandatory for locations with fewer than 50 placed children. The previous inspection in November 2025 revealed two violations (pedagogical policy and safety around beer taps), which were resolved following a recovery offer. The GGD advises the municipality not to take enforcement measures.
